The Super Crema blend was created in Lavazza's Turin workshops to meet a specific demand from Italian baristas: to obtain an exceptionally dense, golden hazelnut-colored, and persistent crema . The result is a blend of 60% Arabica and 40% Robusta —Arabica from Brazil and Colombia brings sweetness and notes of honey and toasted almond, while Robusta from Indonesia and Vietnam provides body and the oils that create the crema.
In the cup, the espresso reveals a round and indulgent : a gentle attack with notes of honey, a full body supported by malty notes and an aroma of toasted almond, and a long, enveloping finish. The bitterness is measured, the acidity subtle, and the very dense crema holds milk perfectly in milk-based drinks.
