Taste Profile
The Blue Line is the classic professional version of Lavazza's Crema e Aroma blend—recognizable by its blue packaging . This multi-origin Arabica-Robusta blend , roasted in Italy, has a smooth and creamy profile : dominant notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, and dried fruit , with a dense and lingering creaminess. Historically distributed through the HoReCa and office channels, this blend coexists with the Crema e Aroma Expert home version and shares the same aromatic signature.

Frequently Asked Questions
When will the Blue Line be available again?
This item is currently unavailable for order. Please leave your email address in the "Notify me" on this page: you will be notified as soon as it is back in stock.
Meanwhile, in the same vein at Cafemalin : Crema e Aroma Expert 1 kg (same blend in gold packaging), Pack 6 kg Crema e Aroma (pro pack version).
What is the difference between Blue Line and Crema e Aroma Expert?
These two blends share the same Crema e Aroma aromatic signature : notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, dried fruit, intensity 8/10. The historical difference:
- Blue Line — professional blue packaging , historically distributed in Ho.Re.Ca. and offices . Slightly optimized formulation for professional/high-volume machine extraction.
- Crema e Aroma Expert — gold retail, home/consumer version.
In practice, the difference in the cup is minimal. The choice comes down to availability and price — the two blends are interchangeable for most uses.
Is this blend suitable for home use or only for professional use?
It is suitable for both uses. Historically designed for the Ho.Re.Ca./office, it also works well on a home bean-to-cup machine (De'Longhi Magnifica, Philips 3200, Melitta Caffeo). The 8/10 intensity and creamy flavor profile are suitable for all palates.
How do I store my Blue Line beans?
Standard best practices:
- Bag resealed hermetically after opening (Lavazza one-way valve).
- Ideal: transfer to an opaque, airtight jar at room temperature (18-22 °C).
- NO refrigerator or freezer.
- Ideally, consume within 4-6 weeks of opening.
