Covim is a contemporary Genoese roastery with deep historical roots. The current company was born in 1991 from the merger of two rival Genoese houses: Coveca, founded in 1969 by Osvaldo Picci with Adone Macoggi and Paolo Guglielmoni, and Compagnia Mediterranea Caffè, founded in 1974 by Federico Solari — descendant of the Federico Solari who launched the "Società Internazionale per la Torrefazione Igienica del Caffè" in Genoa at the beginning of the 20th century.
The sales and administrative headquarters are in Genoa (Via G. Adamoli 241), and the main production site is located in Tribogna (province of Genoa, Liguria), covering nearly 9,000 m². A family-owned company with five shareholder families, Covim has established itself as an Italian leader in portioned and vending coffee, with a strong presence in the HoReCa (hotels, restaurants, cafes) and supermarket sectors. Approximately 30% of its revenue is generated from exports.
Each Covim blend reflects the Ligurian and Italian espresso tradition : controlled roasting to preserve aromas, rigorous quality control, and adjustment of parameters according to the origin and season of the green coffee. Covim's philosophy: "coffee is a living fruit" — the company adjusts its roasting and grinding parameters according to the harvest to maintain consistent quality over time.
At Cafemalin, we stock Covim signature blends in 1kg household and in 6 x 1kg pro packs for restaurants and small Ho.Re.Ca units. Fast 24-48h from our French warehouses.

Granbar in a 6 x 1 kg pack is Covim's absolute best-seller. A full-bodied Italian blend, dark roast, and dense crema—perfect for Italian-style espresso. The professional pack format is ideal for small restaurants, cafes, or high-volume home consumption (multiple daily uses).
If you're looking for something more upscale, Covim Prestige is the house's premium signature blend. For a more aromatic and balanced, Covim Giada offers a less full-bodied alternative.
