The Lavazza Blue (LB) system is a range of professional and office coffee machines developed by Lavazza with a proprietary capsule format, distinct from other Lavazza systems. Introduced in the 2000s to equip offices, meeting rooms, and professional spaces, it offers two main ranges:

• LB300 Classy Mini — compact machine for office or small professional space
• LB2310 — larger capacity machine for meeting rooms or heavy-duty use

Unlike Lavazza residential ( A Modo Mio ) or professional ( Espresso Point ) systems , the system Blue combines espresso coffee capsules and a unique range of ancillary drinks (tea, chocolate, milk) for a complete hot beverage service.

The Bevanda Bianca capsule contains dehydrated milk powder with the necessary additives for reconstitution (emulsifiers, foaming agents). When extracted using your Lavazza Blue, hot water under pressure machine reconstitutes the milk and creates a creamy emulsion in your cup. This results in:

• Cappuccino — first extract 1 Lavazza Blue, then 1 Bevanda Bianca capsule into the same cup
• Latte Macchiato — extract 1 Bevanda Bianca capsule into a tall glass, then add 1 coffee capsule on top
• Milk chocolate — extract 1 Cioccolato Fondente capsule then 1 Bevanda Bianca capsule

Advantage: no need for a milk frother or pitcher. Ideal for offices or meeting rooms for quick and easy service without handling fresh milk.

capsules Blue have a long shelf life, generally 12 to 24 months from the date of manufacture, provided they are stored correctly:

• Dry and cool place — room temperature 18-22 °C, away from heat sources (oven, radiator)
• Keep away from light — store the boxes closed in a cupboard or cabinet
• Original packaging — each capsule is individually sealed under controlled atmosphere
• No refrigerator — humidity and temperature fluctuations alter dehydrated powder (tea, chocolate, milk)

Once opened, the capsules should be consumed immediately (one capsule = one cup). The best before date is printed on the cardboard packaging and on each individual capsule.

It depends on your usage and frequency of consumption:

• 15 capsules — tasting size or for occasional use . Ideal for: trying a new variety (mint tea, red berries), covering occasional needs (guests, rarely used meeting rooms), or supplementing a range without stockpiling. Available in Mint and Red Berry teas.
• 50 capsules — a standard size for regular office or professional use. Approximately 1 to 2 months based on 1-2 drinks per day. Best price per capsule. Standard size for: Cioccolato Fondente (best-seller), Bevanda Bianca (milk), Al Limone (lemon tea).

Tip : start with a 15-caps format for tea, and a 50-caps format for chocolate/milk, which are more commonly consumed in the office.
