All A Modo Mio (AMM) are compatible with all Lavazza AMM machines (Jolie, Jolie Plus, Idola, Deséa, Tiny). Two ranges of AMM capsules are available on Cafemalin :

Simple maintenance to preserve the extraction quality and longevity of your machine:

• Daily — empty the used capsule container, wipe surfaces with a damp microfiber cloth
• Weekly — rinse the water collection tray, clean the extraction nozzle with warm water
• Monthly — complete cleaning with espresso cleaning tablets (degreasing of coffee oils) — run 1 hot water cycle + tablet without a capsule
• Every 2-3 months — descale with an espresso-compatible descaling product (Lavazza offers an official descaling product). Adjust the frequency according to local water hardness (monthly for very hard water, semi-annually for soft water).
• Specific Idola — the LED screen automatically displays descaling alerts. Follow the on-screen instructions.

A properly maintained AMM machine easily lasts 5 to 8 years with regular home use. Descaling is the primary factor in extending its lifespan—neglecting this point reduces its lifespan by half.
