Vending — vending consumables

A soluble vending product is a powdered ingredient (chocolate, tea, cappuccino, coffee, milk) formulated to dissolve instantly upon contact with hot water—no espresso machine, no brewing required, no milk frother needed. These powders are designed for two main uses:

• Automatic vending machines configured for vending — fixed programmed dose (typically 15-20 g/cup), beverage automatically prepared according to the user's choice.
• Manual preparation with a spoon — cup + powder + hot water + mix = drink ready in 5 seconds.

Advantages: ultra-fast preparation, no heavy equipment required, economical yield (from €0.10 to €0.24 per cup depending on the drink), long storage life (18-24 months).

Vending dosage depends on the product and the desired intensity. Standard technical guidelines:

• Cocoa powder — 20-25 g per cup (~50 cups/kg). For a richer chocolate, increase to 30 g/cup (~33 cups/kg).
• Instant soluble tea — 15-20 g per cup (~50-65 cups/kg). Lighter than chocolate to preserve the aromatic finesse.
• Instant cappuccino — 15-20 g per cup (~50-60 cups/kg). The emulsifier it contains produces the creamy foam upon contact with water.
• Prolait powdered milk — 10-15 g per cup to be added to a drink (chocolate, cappuccino, coffee) to make it creamier.

In automatic dispensers, the dosage is programmed to ~15 g/cup by default (configurable according to the manufacturer).
