Instant tea is an instant powder reconstituted in water, with no brewing or tea bags required. The teas we stock are made by Ristora: the brand was born in 1966, when Luciano Pensante founded Prontofoods in Montichiari, near Brescia, to serve Italy's then-emerging vending sector. According to the brand, Ristora first established itself with chocolate and granulated milk, followed by instant lemon tea, which has also been sold in supermarkets since 1990.
The lemon tea is a sweetened mix: sugar, tea extract, citric acid, dehydrated lemon juice and flavourings, with no gluten. Ristora recommends 10 g per cup for hot tea (equivalent to 0,05 € per cup) and 90 to 100 g per litre of cold water for iced tea.
The green tea with mint combines green tea with a fresh mint flavour. Both can be poured into the powder hopper of a hot drinks vending machine, which dispenses a measured amount for each cup, or prepared by the cup with hot water.
Each tea is available in a 1 kg bag and a pack of 6 bags (lemon, mint), for a vending machine, break room or cafeteria. Reseal the bag tightly after use and store it in a cool, dry place.
