Is a length of 11 cm suitable for all cups?
Yes, for the vast majority : 4 oz (12 cl), 6.5 oz (20 cl), and 8 oz (24 cl) cups, espresso cups, and standard cappuccino cups. For very tall mugs (40 cl or more), a 15-18 cm stirrer is preferable if available.
Is the birch wood treated or varnished?
No — raw, untreated wood. No varnish, no stain, no preservatives. Suitable for food contact according to European standards. Sourced from European forests (Scandinavia, Eastern Europe) with traceability and sustainable management.
How long do 1000 stirrers last?
Estimates: Office (10 people) – 15 coffees/day: ~2 months. Restaurant (100 coffees/day) : ~10 days. A 1000-pack is the standard economy size for regular use.
How do I dispose of used stirrers?
Two eco-friendly options: (1) Home composting or a community compost bin — untreated wood decomposes in 2-4 months. (2) Green waste bin if your municipality offers this service. Otherwise, use the regular household waste bin — wood still decomposes in the medium term in a landfill, unlike plastic.
