Aqua Aroma Crema filter for Lavazza Blue machines

Lavazza Blue home/small pro : LB300 Classy Mini, LB900, LB1050. These machines have an integrated filter head specific to the Aqua Aroma Crema format — check for the presence of the filter housing inside the removable water tank.

Two end-of-life criteria:

• Filtered volume — ~60 L of medium-hard water (Lavazza recommendation). After this quantity, the ion exchange resin is saturated and no longer provides any benefit.

Quick and easy installation , completed in 2 minutes without tools:

1. Remove the water tank from the LB300/LB900/LB1050 machine (lift and pull out towards the rear or upwards depending on the model).
2. Locate the filter head inside the tank (~in the middle of the back wall or bottom depending on the model).
3. Unscrew the used filter by rotating it a quarter turn counterclockwise.
4. Insert the new Aqua Aroma Crema filter by rotating it a quarter turn clockwise until it locks into place.
5. Fill the fresh water tank, then replace it on the machine.
6. Purge 2-3 empty espressos to remove the resin fines from the first filling — do not drink these first coffees.

The machine is ready for normal use. Optionally, reset the volumetric counter if your machine has one (maintenance menu).

• Aqua Aroma Crema Filter (this product) — continuous preventative. Prevents limescale from entering the machine by filtering the water upstream. Replace every 2 months.
• Universal descaler 250 mL — periodic maintenance. Removes limescale already deposited in the machine's internal circuits. Use every 3-4 months depending on water hardness, even with a filter in place.

Both are recommended : the filter slows down limescale buildup, and the descaler corrects what the filter cannot completely prevent (mineral residue).
