1 kg bags for vending machines, Ristora hazelnut (8,95 €) or vanilla (8,95 €) and Caprimo vanilla (9,99 €), or Lavazza Expert sticks to pour into a cup: choose according to your machine or how you plan to use them.
Instant cappuccino, also known as cappuccino powder, combines the ingredients of a cappuccino in a single powder: milk powder, instant coffee and sugar, often with a little cocoa. It dissolves in hot water to make a milky drink with a light foam, without fresh milk, a frother or an espresso machine. It is the milky drink served in vending machines, offices and break rooms.
For a vending machine, choose a 1 kg bag. Ristora, an Italian brand in the Prontofoods group, offers two flavours, hazelnut (8,95 €) and vanilla (8,95 €): use 17 to 19 g per cup of hot water, giving 52 to 58 cups per bag (around 0,16 € per cup for hazelnut). Caprimo vanilla (9,99 €) uses the same amount for a 15 cl cup. Caprimo, a brand in the Swiss Barry Callebaut group, launched the first ready-to-mix cappuccino for vending machines in 1987.
If you do not have a vending machine, Lavazza Expert sticks in Cappuccino Classique and Noisette are sold in boxes of 10 sticks of 18 g: put one stick into a cup, add 15 cl of hot water or hot milk, and your drink is ready. With a Lavazza Blue machine, a Bevanda Bianca capsule can replace the water for a creamier cup. Do not pour the sticks into a vending machine: use a 1 kg bag instead.

The questions our customers ask most often.
Instant cappuccino, or cappuccino powder, is an instant mix containing milk powder, instant coffee and sugar, often a little cocoa, and sometimes a flavouring (vanilla or hazelnut). It dissolves in hot water to make a milky drink with a light foam.
Benefits: ready in an instant, no espresso machine, no fresh milk. Store in a dry place with the bag or box tightly closed; the best-before date is shown on the packaging. Ideal for vending machines, offices and break rooms.
For both Ristora cappuccinos and Caprimo vanilla, use 17 to 19 g of powder for a cup containing 15 cl of hot water, giving 52 to 58 cups per 1 kg bag (around 0,16 € per cup for Ristora hazelnut). Pour the hot water over the powder and stir until fully dissolved. For a 18 cl cup, Caprimo recommends 20 to 23 g.
For a vending machine, pour the powder into the compartment for instant drinks and adjust the dose according to the machine manufacturer's instructions. Always reseal the bag after opening.

The brand launched the first ready-to-mix cappuccino for vending machines in 1987 and now belongs to the Swiss Barry Callebaut group. Discover its history on our Caprimo brand page.
