Covim Prestige 1kg Coffee Beans

Covim is a family-run Italian coffee roaster based in the Genoa region of Liguria —a coastal region in northwest Italy. The roastery embraces the Ligurian tradition of roasting, a regional style distinct from the milder Neapolitan and more expressive Turin styles. Covim offers several signature blends, including Granbar (a balanced, historically well-balanced blend), Prestige (a premium, high-end range, this particular blend), and Firma (an intense blend). It's a truly artisanal alternative to major Italian industrial brands (Lavazza, Kimbo, illy).

Two iconic Covim blends with distinct orientations:

• Prestige (this ref.) — premium, high-end range. Predominantly Arabica, medium-dark roast, full body, notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit, and malt. Intensity 8/10.
• Granbar (#38389) — a historically balanced blend. More balanced Arabica-Robusta, medium roast, dense crema, milk chocolate/cereal notes. More moderate intensity.

Choose Prestige for a powerful and full-bodied Italian espresso. Granbar for a more balanced and versatile profile.

Target clientele : Authentic Italian bar / Italian restaurant / Italian-loving office / Italophile clientele

• Authentic Italian bar — trattorias, pizzerias, Italian bars in France looking for an artisan Italian blend different from the Lavazza / Kimbo brands.
• Italian restaurant — after-dinner espresso, rich body, paired with Northern Italian cuisine.
• Amateur office / Italophile clientele — professional firms, agencies with frequent Italian clientele.
• Amateur at home — an artisan alternative to blends from major brands.

Excellent . The Prestige's substantial body and dark chocolate notes cut through heated milk perfectly without being overpowered—ideal for a traditional Italian cappuccino, latte macchiato, or rich café crème . The medium-dark roast develops malty notes that pair particularly well with steamed milk. This is the Covim blend recommended for a bar that wants to offer an authentic Italian experience in both strong espresso and milk-based drinks.

The 1 kg bag is sealed in a protected atmosphere and equipped with a degassing valve. As long as the bag remains unopened, it will keep until the indicated best before date (18-24 months). Store it at room temperature (18-22°C), away from light—do not refrigerate. Once opened, reseal carefully or transfer to an airtight, opaque container, and ideally consume within 3 to 4 weeks. A medium-dark roasted, predominantly Arabica blend retains its aroma well for 1 month after opening.
