Taste Profile
Crema e Aroma is one of the historic blends in the Blue Line — Lavazza's professional bar line calibrated for baristas. Its name sums up its promise: the perfect balance between a dense crema and well-developed aromas — an intermediate compromise between Super Crema (priority crema) and Gran Espresso (priority full-bodied strength).
Arabica-Robusta blend — Brazilian Arabica contributes sweet chocolate notes and a rounded body, while Indonesian and Vietnamese Robusta provides crema and body. A balanced medium roast preserves aromatic finesse while developing enough body for a traditional bar espresso.
In the cup: a smooth and envelopingwith notes of milk chocolate, hazelnut , and toasted grains, and a medium to long finish. This is the Lavazza blend preferred by baristas seeking versatility —excellent in both espresso and milk-based drinks. The 6 kg format offers the best compromise between economy and turnover for an average bar.

What is the Lavazza " Blue Line"?
The Blue Line is professional bar range designed for the Ho.Re.Ca (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés) sector. These blends are specifically formulated for the rapid, repeated extractions required in bars : consistent grind, consistent crema, and balanced aromas that remain perceptible even in milk-based drinks. The Blue Line differs from the consumer range due to its professional focus —primarily distributed through Ho.Re.Ca wholesalers or specialized retailers like Cafemalin.
Crema e Aroma vs Super Crema vs Crema Classica — nuances?
Three Lavazza blends, all crema-oriented, but with different accents:
- Crema e Aroma (this ref.) — a balance of cream and aroma. Notes of milk chocolate and hazelnut. Intensity 8/10.
- Super Crema 6 kg — priority very dense crema. Notes of honey/almond. Intensity 7/10.
