Meanwhile, in the same spirit at Cafemalin : Delta Platinum 30 kg (Portuguese blend predominantly Arabica, slow roasting), Super Crema 6 kg (same blend, smaller format).

The blend, the composition (60% Arabica + 40% Robusta), the medium Turin roast, the cup notes (honey, almond, malty notes), and the dense crema are exactly the same. The only difference is the packaging format— 20 x 1 kg bags vs. 30 x 1 kg bags. Choose according to your volume:

• Super Crema 20 kg (this ref.) — Medium-sized catering establishment, autonomy 1-2 months, restaurant 20-50 covers.
• Super Crema 30 kg — High volume CHR, autonomy 2-3 months, restaurant 50+ covers.

The 20 kg format often remains the most suitable for an average establishment: faster stock rotation therefore freshness in the cup is preserved throughout the pack.

The name "Super Crema" is a product commitment : the blend has been specifically calibrated by Lavazza's master roasters to develop an exceptionally dense crema —thick, golden hazelnut in color, bouncy under the spoon, and lingering for several minutes after extraction. This result is achieved thanks to the 60/40 Arabica-Robusta ratio and the Turin medium roast, which preserves the crema-creating oils while subtly developing the aromatic notes. It is one of the world's best-selling signature blends in the Lavazza Pro Ho.Re.Ca.

Target market Medium-sized hotels, restaurants, and cafes (CHR) and cafeterias .

• Restaurant 20-50 covers — coffee at the end of the meal, milk drinks after the main course.
• 3-4 star hotel — buffet breakfast, lounge, light room service.
• Company cafeteria for 50-100 employees — large capacity machine, medium throughput.
• Independent bar/café — autonomy 1-2 months depending on clientele.
• High-consumption office (30-50 people) — with pro-grade machine.

Estimated yield ~2,857 espressos at standard 7g dose, or ~2,222 espressos at double 9g dose.

Yes, excellent. The dense crema characteristic of the Super Crema blend is a major asset in milk-based drinks : it rises perfectly through heated milk without collapsing and creates a striking visual contrast with the foam. The notes of honey and toasted almond harmonize naturally with the sweetness of steamed milk. Signature cappuccino, latte macchiato, café crème, flat white, cortado—all these drinks yield excellent results with this blend. In a traditional Italian bar, Super Crema is the ultimate all-purpose : a strong espresso in the morning, a cappuccino at breakfast, a long coffee in the afternoon.

Each 1 kg bag is sealed under a modified atmosphere (nitrogen) and equipped with a vent valve that releases residual CO₂ from the roasting process. As long as a bag remains unopened, it will keep until the indicated best before date (18-24 months from roasting). Store unopened bags at room temperature (18-22°C), away from light and heat or humidity sources—do not refrigerate. Once a bag is opened, reseal it carefully (using a heat-sealable band or clip) or transfer the contents to an airtight, opaque container, and ideally consume within 3 to 4 weeks for optimal extraction.
