Taste Profile
AQTIVUS N°8 is the versatile, mild blend in the Delta Q range — positioned in the middle of the standard 1-13 scale , between the balanced QONVICTUS N°5 (mild) and the full-bodied QHARACTER N°9 (traditional). It is predominantly Arabica (South and Central America) with a touch of Robusta for crema, and is medium roasted in the Portuguese style .
In the cup : a well-rounded and indulgent espresso with a dense, hazelnut-colored crema and signature notes of cocoa, roasted grains, hazelnut, and malt . It has a medium body, well-integrated acidity, remarkable sweetness, and a measured bitterness. It's the perfect compromise for those who can't decide —a bit more character than QONVICTUS but without the full-bodied strength of QHARACTER. Ideal for someone who alternates between a strong espresso and a cappuccino depending on the occasion.
40-capsule format : a middle ground between a 10-capsule box (discovery pack) and a 100-capsule pack (economy pack). Ideal for regular weekly use.

AQTIVUS No. 8 is in the middle of the 1-13 scale :
- No. 5 QONVICTUS — balanced medium roast (mild best-seller).
- No. 8 AQTIVUS (this ref.) — versatile, mild, a notch above.
- No. 9 QHARACTER — traditional full-bodied.

Difference between AQTIVUS and QONVICTUS Delta Q?
Two mild Delta Q blends with distinct profiles:
- QONVICTUS N°5 — balanced medium roast sweet, notes of toasted hazelnut + milk cocoa, lighter.
- AQTIVUS N°8 (this ref.) — more full-bodied but still smooth, with notes of cocoa, cereals, hazelnut, and malt. More character.
If you are looking for a versatile coffee with a bit more personality than QONVICTUS, AQTIVUS is the right choice.
Which Delta Q machines are compatible?
All Delta Q machines : Qool Evolution, Mini Qool, Milk Qool, Qosy, iconiq, Naveta, N-Qapsul. The proprietary Delta Q system uses a 5-6g polypropylene capsule with a specific geometry, incompatible with other systems (Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, Lavazza AMM / Blue / Espresso Point, illy Iperespresso).
Cost savings of the 40-caps format vs. a box of 10?
The 40-capsule pack is cheaper per capsule than the 10-capsule pack — compare the prices shown on both pages. For the best price per capsule, see the AQTIVUS 100-capsule pack.
Recommended for milk-based drinks?
Very good — AQTIVUS retains its cocoa and cereal notes in heated milk. Excellent for cappuccino, latte, and latte macchiato. If you prefer a milder flavor, choose QONVICTUS No. 5.If you prefer a stronger milk-based drink, choose QHARACTER No. 9.
Recycling of Delta Q capsules?
Delta Q capsules made of recyclable polypropylene — recyclable in the yellow recycling stream after emptying the coffee grounds. Delta Q does not currently a dedicated return program. The coffee grounds can be composted separately. Recyclable cardboard boxes.
