QHARACTER N°9 is the traditional full-bodied in the Delta Q range — a South American Arabica-Robusta blend with an African touch, dark roasted in the Portuguese style. Positioned at an intensity of 9/13, it represents theentry point into the Delta Q range of full-bodied blends — less powerful than Qalidus N°10 but more intense than Aqtivus N°8 (a round blend).
In the cup : a traditional full-bodied espresso with a very dense, dark hazelnut-colored crema and signature notes of intense cocoa, blond tobacco, and roasted aromas . It has a generous body (8/10), a pronounced yet elegant bitterness, and a remarkably long finish. This is the classic Portuguese full-bodied espresso —ideal for those who find Aqtivus No. 8 too smooth but Qalidus No. 10 too strong.
40-capsule format : a good compromise between a 10-capsule box (discovery pack) and a 100-capsule pack (economy pack). Ideal for regular weekly use (approximately 5 capsules per day for 8 days).

Recycling of Delta Q capsules?
Delta Q capsules are made of recyclable polypropylene — recyclable in the yellow recycling stream after emptying the coffee grounds. Delta Q does not currently a dedicated return program (unlike Nespresso with its collection points). The grounds can be composted separately (an excellent compost activator). Recyclable cardboard boxes.
What does "No. 09" mean and what is the Delta Q intensity scale?
Delta Q uses an intensity scale from 1 to 13 to classify its blends:
- 1-4 — very gentle.
- 5-7 — balanced / tender.
- 8-10 — strong (including QHARACTER No. 9).
- 11-13 — very strong (Qharisma No. 12).
- No. 14+ — special editions (EpiQ No. 14, MYTHIQ No. 15, UNIQ No. 16).
