Delta Q Qonvictus N°5 is a blend that Delta Cafés describes as classic and balanced. Qonvictus combines coffees from Costa Rica and Tanzania, roasted in Campo Maior, Portugal. In the cup, a full-bodied espresso with notes of caramel and chocolate and delicate acidity.
On the Delta Q intensity scale, which currently goes up to 16, it is rated 5, the lowest intensity among the Delta Q coffees available at Cafemalin. It is one of the most frequently ordered Delta Q coffees at Cafemalin.

What is the intensity of Delta Q Qonvictus?
Qonvictus N°5 is rated 5 on the Delta Q intensity scale, which currently goes up to 16 with Uniq. For Delta Q, intensity is the strength of the coffee's flavour, which depends on the amount of ground coffee, the roast level and the type of beans: the higher the number, the stronger the espresso.
Delta Q describes it as a classic, balanced blend: a full-bodied espresso with notes of caramel and chocolate and delicate acidity.
Where does the coffee in Delta Q Qonvictus come from?
Qonvictus N°5 combines coffees from Costa Rica and Tanzania. Like the coffee in all Delta Q capsules, it is roasted in Portugal by Delta Cafés, in Campo Maior, where the green coffees are tasted daily before being roasted and blended.
Qonvictus N°5 or Qharacter N°9: which should you choose?
Qonvictus N°5 (intensity 5) is classic and balanced: notes of caramel and chocolate, with delicate acidity. Qharacter N°9 (intensity 9) is full-bodied and sophisticated: notes of caramel and dried fruit, with a lingering aroma.
For a stronger espresso, choose Qharacter N°9; for a classic, balanced profile, stay with Qonvictus N°5.
Are Delta Q Qonvictus capsules compatible with Nespresso?
No. Delta Q capsules use a format specific to the brand: they only work in Delta Q machines, such as the Mini Qool or ICONIQ, and do not fit Nespresso, Dolce Gusto or Lavazza machines. Likewise, a Delta Q machine only accepts Delta Q format capsules.
How many coffees can you make with 40 capsules?
One capsule makes one coffee: 40 coffees, as 30 ml espressos or 45 ml lungos, the two volumes specified by Delta Q. At two coffees a day, the pack lasts around twenty days. Qonvictus N°5 is also available in a box of 10 and a pack of 100 capsules (10 boxes of 10).
How do you recycle Delta Q capsules?
A Delta Q capsule combines a plastic body with an aluminium lid; according to Delta Q, it can be recycled by separating the plastic, aluminium and coffee grounds. In France, the instructions depend on your local authority: check Citeo’s Guide du tri (website or app). The grounds can be composted.
