QONVICTUS N°5 is the all-time best-seller in the Delta Q capsule system — the balanced, versatile designed for everyday espresso. A predominantly Arabica (South and Central America) with a touch of Robusta for crema, it's medium roasted in the Portuguese style , which develops chocolate aromas without overpowering the delicate notes.
In the cup : a balanced and well-rounded, a dense hazelnut-colored, and signature notes of roasted hazelnut, milk chocolate, and malty undertones. Medium body, smooth acidity, and a touch of bitterness—a crowd-pleaser with no harsh edges. This is the Delta Q capsule recommended first for users new to the system or those undecided between different profiles.
Within the Delta Q range, QONVICTUS sits between the milder blends (AQTIVUS No. 8) and the more robust blends (Qalidus No. 10). It's the perfect middle ground , satisfying most palates. Which Delta Q machines are compatible?
All Delta Q machines : Qool Evolution, Mini Qool, Milk Qool, Qosy, iconiq, Naveta, N-Qapsul. The proprietary Delta Q system uses a 5-6g polypropylene capsule with a specific geometry, incompatible with other systems (Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, Lavazza AMM / Blue / Espresso Point, illy Iperespresso).

What does "No. 05" mean and what is the Delta Q intensity scale?
Delta Q uses an intensity scale from 1 to 13 to classify its blends:
- 1-4 — very smooth blends.
- 5-7 — balanced (QONVICTUS N°5), soft (DEQAFEINATUS N°7 decaffeinated).
- 8-10 — full-bodied (AQTIVUS N°8 mild, QHARACTER N°9 traditional, Qalidus N°10 signature).
- 11-13 — very strong (Qharisma No. 12).
- No. 14+ — editions outside the expert scale (EpiQ No. 14, MYTHIQ No. 15, UNIQ No. 16).
No. 05 = position 5 on this scale. Ideal for everyday use, handles cappuccinos/lattes very well (the milk doesn't overpower the flavors).
Savings per capsule vs. box of 10?
The 10 x 10 pack contains 10 boxes of 10 capsules — a saving of 3% compared to buying boxes separately at the current price. Hence the advantage of the pack format for regular users (usage > 15 capsules/week).

Recycling of Delta Q capsules?
Delta Q capsules are made of recyclable polypropylene plastic — recyclable in the yellow recycling bin after emptying the coffee grounds.
