Taste Profile
Kimbo Bio is the organic and Fairtrade blend from the Neapolitan brewery founded in 1963 by the Rubino brothers: 90% washed Arabica beans from Nicaragua and Peru, 10% natural Robusta from India, all certified organic and Fairtrade . The medium-light roast preserves floral notes , a clean almond character , and sweet spices ; the small amount of Robusta provides the crema. Intensity 5/10 : the most delicate Kimbo in the collection, enjoyable as an espresso or a long coffee.
The 6 kg pack is the large format of the standard, designed for regular and sustained consumption : medium-sized offices , restaurants or hotels offering organic coffee on their menu, and organizations committed to responsible purchasing. It contains six 1 kg bags, each individually sealed: you open one bag at a time, while the other five remain airtight—a light roast Arabica-dominant blend is more susceptible to this than a full-bodied blend.
For more moderate consumption: the 3 x 1 kg pack ; to discover the blend: the Kimbo Bio 1 kg unit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the Kimbo Bio 6 x 1 kg pack intended for?
Ideal for any establishment that serves coffee daily and wants an organic and fair : offices of 15 to 40 people, restaurants or hotels featuring certified coffee on their menu, local authorities or associations committed to responsible purchasing, and coffee corners. One pack lasts approximately one month at 30 cups per day. For lower consumption, the 3 x 1 kg pack avoids having to keep open bags for too long.
Why six 1kg bags rather than one 6kg bag?
For freshness . A medium-light roast Arabica-dominant blend loses its floral notes a few weeks after opening; with six 1 kg bags sealed in a protective atmosphere, you only expose one kilo to air at a time , the other five remaining airtight until their best before date. It's also more practical: one bag per machine, one per location, or a buffer stock on hand. Each bag is the original 1 kg Kimbo Organic (EAN 8002200140540); nothing is repackaged
How many cups can you get from a 6kg pack?
Depending on the dosage and method:
- Strong espresso (7g) : ~857 cups per pack.
- Bean-to-cup espresso machine (9-10 g) : ~600 to 660 cups.
- Filter coffee serving (60 g / L) : ~500 cups of 200 mL.
An office consuming 30 cups per day will use up the pack in about a month; a restaurant consuming 60 cups per day will use it in two weeks.
What do the organic and Fairtrade labels on this pack guarantee?
Organic farming (European regulation): cultivation without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, annual independent inspection, traceability from planting to roasting. Fairtrade : beans purchased from cooperatives in Nicaragua, Peru, and India at a guaranteed minimum price, with a premium invested in collective projects. Both labels cover the entire blend, Arabica as well as Robusta—a selling point to highlight on your menu or in your responsible purchasing policy.
Is the 6 x 1 kg pack available for other Kimbo blends?
Yes, the 6 x 1 kg format is the professional size for the entire Kimbo bean range at Cafemalin : Prestige (the classic full-bodied Neapolitan), Extra Cream (dense crema for cappuccino), Armonico (predominantly Arabica, well-rounded), and Espresso Mix. The Organic blend is the only one certified organic and Fairtrade, and the mildest (5/10).
