Kimbo Prestige coffee bean pack 6 kg — 6 × 1 kg

Six 1 kg bags of Kimbo Prestige whole bean coffee, identical to the individual bag sold : this is the carton in which Kimbo delivers this coffee to bars and restaurants. Only one bag is opened at a time; the other five remain sealed.

Kimbo describes it as a very well-balanced coffee : medium body, elegant sweetness, notes of caramel , biscuit and dried fruit , fine acidity, and a spicy, lingering finish. It's a blend of Arabica and Robusta , predominantly Arabica , and rounder than the Robusta-dominant Extra Cream

Approximately 860 espressos at 7g, 600 to 670 at 9 or 10g, and 330 to 430 double espressos using a portafilter (14 to 18g). An office serving thirty espressos a day will consume it in about a month.

The 6-bag pack is ideal for heavy consumption: an office, a restaurant, or the home of serious espresso lovers. For more moderate consumption, the 3-bag pack prevents coffee from being stored for too long; to discover this coffee, try the 1 kg bag.

Both coffees are available in the same format:

• Prestige (this pack) — predominantly Arabica, balanced, caramel and dried fruit: a well-rounded espresso.
• Extra Cream 6 × 1 kg — Robusta dominant, full body, thick crema: for a stronger espresso or cappuccino.

Keep the bags sealed and away from heat and light until the date printed on each one; Kimbo states an 18-month shelf life for the Prestige variety. Once opened, carefully reseal the bag, expelling any excess air, or transfer the beans to an opaque, airtight container. Avoid the refrigerator: humidity and odors will damage the beans.
