Taste Profile
Kimbo Espresso Mix is the balanced, everyday blend in the Kimbo range—designed for the classic Italian espresso served in bars across Italy ( caffè at the counter, in a small, warm cup, with its dense, hazelnut-colored crema). It features a carefully balanced Arabica-Robusta blend (~50/50), a Neapolitan roast that is darker than Lavazza's Piedmontese blends but lighter than Kimbo's Prestige blends, and notes of cocoa, sweet spices, and a subtle toasty finish .
Positioned between Cremoso (mild) and Prestige (the iconic Neapolitan full-bodied espresso), Espresso Mix is Kimbo's versatile for home, restaurant, or office— a signature Kimbo blend with an accessible, intense body and rich crema, satisfying most palates who enjoy an Italian espresso with character but not too much. Kimbo's best-selling whole bean coffee at Cafemalin (ranked 1,745th in total sales).

Is Espresso Mix suitable for restaurants and offices?

The 1 kg bag format is suitable for home coffee lovers, the average office (10-20 people), or small restaurants. For more intensive use, consider the full Kimbo range of whole bean coffee and pro pack sizes.

Is Espresso Mix compatible with my bean-to-cup machine?
Yes, all brands : De'Longhi (Magnifica, Dinamica), Jura (E, S, Z, GIGA), Philips (LatteGo, 2200-5500), Melitta (Caffeo, Barista), Krups (Evidence, Intuition), Saeco. Recommended settings: medium grind 5/10, dose 9-10 g, temperature 92°C, extraction 25-30 s. The Arabica-Robusta blend produces a very dense, hazelnut-colored crema that compensates well for machines without pre-infusion.
How to store the 1 kg bag?
Carefully reseal the Kimbo bag after opening or transfer the grains to an airtight, opaque container at room temperature (18-22°C), away from light and heat sources. Avoid the refrigerator (humidity and odor absorption). Best before date for a sealed bag: 18-24 months. Once opened, ideally consume within 3-4 weeks for optimal flavor.
