Taste Profile
The Delta Cafés Origin Pack is a single-origin discovery pack that brings together several 100% Arabica single-origin , roasted separately in Delta's Campo Maior (Alentejo, Portugal). The idea is to offer enthusiasts and curious minds the opportunity to compare side-by-side the cup profiles of coffees from several producing countries, with a single roaster as the stylistic reference (the consistent Portuguese Delta style) — thus isolating the effect of terroir on the cup of coffee.
The composition may vary : the Origin pack typically includes Delta Brazil 500g (100% Brazilian Cerrado Arabica , with sweet cocoa notes) and Delta Colombia 500g (100% washed Colombian Arabica , with red fruit notes). The composition may change depending on the harvest and the seasonality of the Delta origins (Guatemala, Honduras, and Ethiopia are available occasionally).
Educational use : ideal for training your palate —prepare an espresso from each origin using the same settings, compare the cups side-by-side, and take notes. The perfect gift size for the curious coffee lover or for discovering the Delta signature applied to different terroirs before choosing their favorite origin.

How to effectively compare origins?
Follow the blind tasting method to train your palate:
- Use the same settings — grind, dose, temperature, time — for each origin.
- Strong espresso — 30 mL / 25 s to reveal the fine notes of each terroir.
- Wait until the cup is lukewarm — the aromas are better expressed at 60-65°C than at 90°C.
- Note your impressions — acidity, bitterness, body, aromatic notes (chocolate, fruit, floral).
- Drink a little water between each one — it cleanses the palate.

Single origin or blend, which to choose?
Single- origin coffees showcase the unique terroir of a country or region: each cup expresses the characteristics of the soil, climate, and altitude. Blends combine several origins to create a balanced and consistent profile . This Origin pack is perfect for understanding the difference before choosing your favorite style. Blends like Delta Gold remain excellent for everyday drinking.
How to store the 2-3 500g bags?
Each 500g bag has a zip closure and a degassing valve. After opening, reseal carefully or transfer to an airtight, opaque container at room temperature (18-22°C), away from light. Best before end (unopened bag): 18-24 months. Once opened, ideally consume within 3-4 weeks for optimal flavor.
