Delta Cafés Gold 10 kg pack — the iconic Delta Cafés blend in a format for Ho.Re.Ca / medium-sized offices. An Arabica-Robusta blend roasted in Campo Maior (Alentejo, Portugal), where Delta has been roasting since 1961: African Robustas and Central American Arabicas.
In the cup: a clean, balanced and lively cup with an intense flavour, a hint of honey and ripe fruit, and notes of walnuts and toasted almonds. Intensity 12 on Delta's scale of 15, equivalent to 8/10 on our product pages — versatile enough for espresso, bean-to-cup machines and filter coffee machines.
10 kg format = 20 bags of 500 g, the same bag as the individual Delta Gold 500 g item, each sealed with a degassing valve: only the bag in use is open, while the other nineteen retain their aromas. A format suited to restaurants, hotels and cafeterias consuming 5 to 10 kg per month — saving −19% compared with 20 bags bought separately.

Frequently asked questions
Does the 10 kg pack come in one bag or separate bags?
Supplied in 20 bags of 500 g, each sealed with a degassing valve — exactly the same bag sold individually as Delta Gold 500 g. This packaging, designed for professional use, allows bag-by-bag rotation (first in, first out): only the bag in use is exposed to air. The bags are packed together in cardboard boxes for shipping.
How much do I save compared with buying 20 bags of 500 g separately?
On this page, the pack price is compared with the price of 20 bags of Delta Gold 500 g bought individually — saving −19% at current prices. The 10 kg format is the intermediate pack size for restaurants, offices with 15 to 40 staff and cafeterias consuming 5 to 10 kg per month. For consumption above 10 kg per month, see the Delta Gold 20 kg pack (40 bags).
How many cups of espresso can I make with this 10 kg pack?
The yield depends on the dose used:
- Short espresso (7 g/cup): ~1 430 cups, or ~71 per bag.
- Standard espresso (9 g/cup) : ~1 110 cups.
- Long coffee / lungo (10 g/cup) : ~1 000 cups.
- Filter coffee maker (60 g/L): ~140 litres, or ~840 cups of 200 ml.
For an office of 25–30 people drinking 2–3 espressos/day, a 10 kg pack lasts approximately 3–4 weeks, using one 500 g bag per working day.
Is Delta Gold compatible with professional Ho.Re.Ca bean-to-cup machines?
Yes, Delta Gold is very widely used in the European Ho.Re.Ca sector — compatible with all professional bean-to-cup machines: Delonghi Dinamica Pro, Franke A600/A800, Jura GIGA X, La Cimbali, Melitta Cafina, Saeco Royal Professional. The Arabica-Robusta blend develops a dense, lasting crema that compensates well for rapid extraction cycles. Recommended grind: medium (5–6/10), dose 8–9 g, temperature 92–93 °C. One 500 g bag yields ~55 espressos at 9 g: the hopper is refilled one bag at a time, with no remaining beans left exposed to air.
What is the best-before date, and how should unopened bags be stored?
The best-before date is printed on each 500 g bag. Store unopened bags at room temperature (18–22 °C), away from light and any source of heat or moisture. Avoid refrigerating (coffee absorbs moisture and odours). Once a bag is open, reseal it carefully (or transfer the contents to an opaque, airtight jar) and use within 3–4 weeks for optimal aroma. In professional settings, follow first-in, first-out stock rotation.
What is the difference between Delta Gold 10 kg and Delta Platinum 10 kg?
Two Delta blends in the same format of 20 bags of 500 g:
- Delta Gold (this item) — intensity 8/10, African Robustas and Central American Arabicas, with notes of honey, ripe fruit and toasted almonds. A versatile bestseller (espresso, filter, moka pot).
- Delta Platinum 10 kg — intensity 8/10, Delta's top-of-the-range blend: Central American Arabica and Asian Robusta, slow roasting, notes of ripe fruit, caramel and chocolate, with a smoother cup and a longer finish.
