Delta Q EpiQ N°14 is a blend that Delta Cafés describes as full-bodied and intense. EpiQ combines coffees from Ivory Coast, Angola and Congo, roasted in Campo Maior, Portugal. In the cup, a very intense espresso with notes of roasted nuts and slight acidity. When it launched in 2017, it was the first Delta Q blend with an intensity of 14.
It is rated 14 on the Delta Q intensity scale, which currently goes up to 16, between Qharisma N°12 and Mythiq N°15.

What is the intensity of Delta Q EpiQ?
EpiQ N°14 is rated 14 on the Delta Q intensity scale, which currently goes up to 16 with Uniq. For Delta Q, intensity is the strength of the coffee's flavour, which depends on the amount of ground coffee, the roast level and the type of beans: the higher the number, the stronger the espresso.
Delta Q describes it as a full-bodied and intense blend: a very intense espresso with notes of roasted nuts and slight acidity.
Where does the coffee in Delta Q EpiQ come from?
EpiQ N°14 combines coffees from Ivory Coast, Angola and Congo. Like the coffee in all Delta Q capsules, it is roasted in Portugal by Delta Cafés, in Campo Maior, where the green coffees are tasted every day before being roasted and blended.
EpiQ N°14 or Mythiq N°15: which should you choose?
EpiQ N°14 (intensity 14) is full-bodied and intense, with notes of roasted nuts and slight acidity. Mythiq N°15 (intensity 15) is full-bodied and very intense, with notes of cocoa, chocolate and roasted nuts, and hints of raspberry.
For a stronger espresso, choose Mythiq N°15; for a full-bodied and intense profile, stick with EpiQ N°14.
Are Delta Q EpiQ capsules compatible with Nespresso?
No. Delta Q capsules use a format specific to the brand: they only work in Delta Q machines, such as the Mini Qool or ICONIQ, and do not fit Nespresso, Dolce Gusto or Lavazza machines. Likewise, a Delta Q machine only accepts Delta Q format capsules.
What is in the pack of 100 capsules?
10 boxes of 10 capsules of EpiQ N°14, making 100 coffees: 30 ml espressos or 45 ml lungos, the two volumes specified by Delta Q. At two coffees a day, the pack lasts around fifty days, and the boxes stay sealed until needed. EpiQ N°14 is also available in a box of 10.
How do you recycle Delta Q capsules?
A Delta Q capsule combines a plastic body with an aluminium lid; according to Delta Q, it can be recycled by separating the plastic, aluminium and coffee grounds. In France, the instructions depend on your local authority: check Citeo’s Guide du tri (website or app). The grounds can be composted.
