Delta Q EpiQ No. 14 is a blend that Delta Cafés describes as full-bodied and intense. EpiQ combines coffees from Ivory Coast,Angola , and Congo, roasted in Campo Maior, Portugal. In the cup, it's a very intense espresso with notes of roasted nutsand a slight acidity. At its launch in 2017, it was the first Delta Q blend with an intensity of 14.
On the Delta Q intensity scale, which today goes up to 16, it is noted as 14, between Qharisma No. 12 and Mythiq No. 15.

What is the intensity of the Delta Q EpiQ?
TheEpiQ N°14 is rated 14 on the Delta Q intensity scale, which now goes up to 16 with theUniq. For Delta Q, intensity is the strength of the coffee's taste, which depends on the amount of ground coffee, the degree of roasting and the type of beans: the higher the number, the stronger the espresso.

Where does the coffee in Delta Q EpiQ come from?
EpiQ N°14 combines coffees from Ivory Coast,Angola and Congo. Like all Delta Q capsules, it is roasted in Portugal by Delta Cafés, in Campo Maior, where the green coffees are tasted daily before being roasted and blended.
EpiQ No. 14 or Mythiq No. 15: which one to choose?
EpiQNo. 14 (intensity 14) is full-bodied and intense: notes of roasted nuts, slight acidity. Mythiq No. 15 (intensity 15) is full-bodied and very intense: notes of cocoa, chocolate and roasted nuts, hints of raspberry.
For a stronger espresso, choose the Mythiq N°15; for a full-bodied and intense profile, stick with the EpiQ N°14.
Are Delta Q EpiQ capsules compatible with Nespresso?
No. The Delta Q capsule has a format specific to the brand: it only works in Delta Q machines, such as the Mini Qool or theICONIQ, and cannot be used in a Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, or Lavazza machine. Conversely, a Delta Q machine only accepts capsules of the Delta Q format.
How many coffees can you make with a box of 10 capsules?
One capsule makes one coffee: the box makes 10 coffees, either 30 mL espressos or 45 mL long coffees, the two volumes indicated by Delta Q. EpiQ N°14 is also available in a pack of 100 capsules (10 boxes of 10).
How to recycle Delta Q capsules?
A Delta Q capsule combines a plastic body and an aluminum lid ; according to Delta Q, it is recyclable by separating the plastic, aluminum, and coffee grounds. In France, the recycling guidelines vary depending on your municipality: check them on the Recycling Guide (website or app). The coffee grounds themselves are compostable.
