Delta Gold Ground 250g — the ground version of the signature Delta Gold blend. A Arabica-Robusta roasted in Portugal using the traditional Delta method in Campo Maior (Alentejo). Unlike the whole bean version (see Delta Gold 500g whole bean, quality pilot), this pack offers a versatile standard grind that's ready to use — convenient for the user without a grinder, but less optimal for espresso machines.
In the cup: a round and indulgent profile —dominant notes of dark chocolate and roasted nuts (hazelnut, almond), underscored by hints of sweet spices (cinnamon, cardamom). The bitterness is present but well-balanced, the acidity subtle. Suitable for filter coffee makers, Italian moka pots, and French presses . For use with a bean-to-cup machine or portafilter espresso maker, choose the 500g bag of whole beans and grind to your desired consistency.

What methods is this grind suitable for?
The standard Delta Gold grind is suitable for:
- Electric filter coffee maker — main use, beach sand texture.
- Bialetti Italian Moka pot — excellent compatibility, gentle heat 3-4 min.
- French Press / piston — although ideally coarser, this grind is still usable.
- Chemex / V60 pour-over — ratio 60 g / L.
For espresso machines (58 mm portafilter or bean-to-cup machines), the grind is too coarse — prefer the Delta Gold 500 g bean version , which should be ground finely in a grinder.
What is the exact composition of the Delta Gold blend?
Delta Gold is a balanced Arabica-Robusta blend —the Arabica contributes the aromatic notes (chocolate, dried fruit, spices) , while the Arabica-Robusta combination provides body and creaminess. The blend is sourced from classic Delta origins (Brazil, Vietnam, Ethiopia) and roasted in Campo Maior using the traditional Portuguese method. It has an intensity rating of 8/10 on the official Delta scale. Do not confuse it with a 100% Arabica coffee —Delta Gold is a true Arabica-Robusta blend.
How should the package be stored after opening?
coffee oxidizes more quickly than whole bean coffee —it's physics; the larger the surface area exposed to air, the more aromas escape. After opening:
- Carefully reseal the bag or transfer to an opaque, airtight container.
- Room temperature (18-22 °C), away from light and heat.
- Avoid the refrigerator (humidity + odor absorption).
- Consume within 2-3 weeks of opening to preserve freshness.
Is there a difference in taste between ground and whole bean Delta Gold?
Identical composition — same Arabica-Robusta Delta Gold blend roasted in Campo Maior. The only difference is the format:
- 500g Beans (Delta Gold 500g) — you will grind to the desired grind (fine for espresso, medium for filter, coarse for French press). Freshness preserved until the moment of grinding.
- Ground 250g (this product) — standard ground, ready to use. Convenient, but oxidizes more quickly after opening.
For regular use, choose the whole bean version with a grinder for freshness.
How many cups can I make with 250g?
Estimated yield:
