Lavazza Blue Decaffeinato — 100 capsules

Very little: in France, the term "decaffeinated coffee" is reserved for coffee whose caffeine content does not exceed 0.1% of the dry coffee. A capsule containing a few grams of coffee therefore contains only a few milligrams at most, compared to several tens of milligrams for a classic espresso. Decaf coffee is not, however, completely caffeine-free.

Lavazza indicates a natural process, without detailing the method used for this coffee. Generally, caffeine is removed from greenbefore roasting: this is what allows a decaffeinated coffee to retain the aromas of its blend.

It's a smooth, chocolatey espresso : Lavazza describes it as full-bodied and mellow, with a chocolate finish and a velvety crema. With an intensity of 6 out of 13 , it's lighter than other coffees in the range, which range from 8 for Tales of Venezia to 12 for Tales of Napoli .

Yes capsules Blue are the same size and fit in the same machine. At the office, a box of Decaffeinato next to Amabileor Blue Blue gives everyone a choice.

No capsule Blue has a shape specific to its system and only works in a Lavazza Blue. It is not suitable for Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, Delta Q or illy Iperespresso machines, nor for other Lavazza systems (A Modo Mio, Espresso Point, Firma).

Decaf coffee should be chosen according to your machine's system:

• Delta Q — the Deqafeinatus.
