Lavazza Vending Kit 3 kg

The 3 kg bag is the compact format in the Lavazza Vending range — calibrated for:

• Small office vending machine (5-15 users, ~20-40 espressos/day) — 2-3 week autonomy.
• Intensive bean-to-cup machine (Delonghi Magnifica, Jura E6, Melitta Caffeo) — autonomy ~4-6 weeks at 5-10 espressos/day.
• Point Compact self-service coffee (reception area for shops, waiting room for private practices).
• Small coworking space — shared machine for 8-15 people.

For more intensive use, choose the 6 kg bag or the 12 kg kit + accessories.

This Lavazza Vending blend is perfectly suited to automatic bean-to-cup machines with an integrated grinder. Typical compatible machines:

• Intense focus / little pro : De'Longhi (Magnifica, Dinamica, Eletta), Jura (E, S, Z, ENA), Melitta (Caffeo, Barista, LatteSelect), Krups (Evidence, Intuition), Philips (LatteGo, 2200-5500), Saeco.
• Vending / semi-pro distributors : Necta (Krea, Kanguro), Rheavendors, Sagoma, Wega, WMF (WMF 5000S / 9000S).

Recommended setting : medium grind selector 6-7/10, 8g dose, extraction ~25-30 s for a 30-40 mL espresso. Adjust finer (5/10) if your machine under-extracts (acidic coffee), coarser (8/10) if over-extracts (bitter coffee).

The yield depends on the dosage per cup :

• Strong espresso (7 g/cup) : ~429 cups per 3 kg bag.
• Standard espresso (8 g/cup) : ~375 cups per sachet.
• Long espresso / lungo (10 g/cup) : ~300 cups per sachet.
• Filter coffee maker (60 g / L, i.e. 12 g for 200 mL) : ~250 cups per sachet.

For typical small office use ( 20 espressos/day) , a 3kg bag lasts approximately 3-4 weeks . For more intensive use (vending machine, shared bean-to-cup machine), consider the 6kg bag or the 12kg kit + accessories .

Whole bean coffee is more stable than ground coffee, but remains sensitive to air, humidity, and light. Good practices after opening:

• Carefully reseal the bag (Lavazza heat-sealable strip) or transfer the grains into an opaque airtight jar or a sealed machine hopper.
• Room temperature (18-22 °C), away from light and any heat source.
• Avoid the refrigerator, where the coffee would absorb moisture and odors.
• Ideally, consume within 3-4 weeks for optimal aroma (moderate office use).

An unopened 3 kg bag can be stored until the indicated best before date (generally 18-24 months from roasting).

Lavazza Vending blend is calibrated for high-volume professional use — vending machines, automatic dispensers, intensive bean-to-cup machines. It differs from Lavazza home blends in several point:

• Volumetric extraction : vending blends produce a dense crema even without pre-infusion (typical of vending machines). Home blends like Super Crema (consumer-grade) are finer but less tolerant of rapid extractions.
• Cup consistency : priority is given to serving the same cup every time (cup #500 should look like cup #1). Home blends tend to focus on aromatic complexity.
• B2B format : 3-12 kg bag (no 250-500 g household size). Professional.

For home use, choose Lavazza Super Crema 1 kg or Lavazza Qualità Oro 1 kg.
