Covim Granbar Bidose — 100 capsules compatible with Lavazza Blue

A capsule containing enough for two espressos. On machines with a "double espresso" or "dual espresso" button, you place two cups under the spout and the machine brews both coffees together with a single capsule. A box of 100 capsules therefore makes 200 espressos.

With the free dose function : press the button and stop it with a second press when the cup reaches approximately 60 mL, the dose of a double espresso. On the LB 2310, this is the "Free Dose" button; on the LB 300 Classy Mini, it's the lungo button, which can be stopped on demand. For a single espresso per capsule, use a standard capsule, such as Bristot 100% Arabica.

Covim announces that they are compatible with the Lavazza Blue, the one for machines whose name starts with "LB": LB 300 Classy Mini, LB 1300C Classy Soul, LB 2310… They do not fit in A Modo Mio, Espresso Point, Firma, Nespresso or Dolce Gusto machines.

According to Covim, this espresso has a robust aroma , a full and robust taste , with notes of toast and dried fruit : body and roundness score 5 out of 5 in their description, aroma 4, and sweetness and roast 3. It is a blend of Arabica and Robusta. In the original Lavazza capsules, the most robust profiles are Blue Intenso (11 out of 13) and Tales of Napoli (12).

A roaster from Genoa, founded in 1991 through the merger of two Genoese companies, Coveca (1969) and Compagnia Mediterranea Caffè (1974), which produces its coffee in Tribogna, in the province of Genoa. Granbar is the blend it offers to bars and professionals, available as whole bean coffee or in compatible capsules.
