Lavazza Firma compatible COVIM capsules

Lavazza Firma system in 90 seconds
The Lavazza Firma system was launched in 2015 by Lavazza to equip the pro-office segment (offices, meeting rooms, small businesses) with a higher-quality aluminum capsule espresso preparation solution than traditional bagged systems. The LF400 and LF3600 machines are co-manufactured by Saeco/Philips for Lavazza and offer a proprietary 26mm capsule format — not interchangeable with Lavazza's consumer systems ( A Modo Mio ) or Blue.
COVIM — Compagnia Veneta d'Importazione Mercato , Genoa 's oldest family-owned coffee roaster since 1926 — offers two blends specifically designed for the Firma system: OROCREMA (a balanced blend with a dense and persistent crema , medium roast, notes of cocoa and toasted cereals) and GRANBAR (a full-bodied blend in the style of an Italian café-bar , darker roast, pronounced notes of dark cocoa and burnt wood). Available in a box of 100 aluminum capsules for approximately €25.04 , which works out to a cost per cup of approximately €0.25 .
Strict compatibility : These capsules only work with Lavazza Firma machines (LF400, LF3600, and equivalent office models). They are NOT compatible with Lavazza A Modo Mio consumer systems (different capsule format, 27 mm) or Blue (also a different format). For home use, please see our Lavazza Capsules range .
Aluminum is the traditional material of the Firma system: a perfect barrier against oxygen and light, preserving aromas for 12+ months . Empty capsules are recyclable through metal recycling (yellow bin or metal bin depending on your municipality). Coffee grounds can be added to home compost.

Are these capsules compatible with Lavazza A Modo Mio ?
No. Firma capsules (26 mm format) are NOT compatible with A Modo Mio (27 mm format). These are two separate Lavazza systems : Firma targets the professional office segment and A Modo Mio the general public at home.

Which Lavazza Firma machine works with these capsules?
COVIM compat Firma capsules work with all Lavazza Firma pro-office machines :
- LF400 (Lavazza Firma 400) — compact desktop machine launched in 2015, manufactured by Saeco/Philips
- LF3600 — larger professional machine, higher hourly throughput
- Equivalent B2B machines distributed by the Lavazza network for businesses and the hotel and restaurant industry
What is the difference between OROCREMA and GRANBAR?
OROCREMA is a balanced blend with a dense and persistent crema, medium roast, and notes of sweet cocoa and toasted cereals. Intensity ~7/10. Ideal for an everyday espresso, perfect for the office or meeting room.
GRANBAR is a full-bodied blend in the style of Italian cafés, with a darker roast and pronounced notes of dark cocoa and burnt wood. Intensity ~8/10. For lovers of traditional Italian ristretto/short espresso.
Why COVIM capsules and not Lavazza directly?
COVIM offers an independent Italian alternative to the official Lavazza Firma capsules, with two advantages:

Where can empty Firma capsules be recycled?
COVIM Firma aluminum capsules can be recycled through metal recycling : empty the coffee grounds (home compost or organic waste bin), then dispose of the empty capsule in the yellow bin or metal recycling bin , depending on your municipality. Nespresso does NOT accept Firma capsules (different size).
