Lavazza Blue Tales of Milano Espresso pays homage to Milan, the "fashion capital," in Lavazza's Tales of collection. It's a single-origin blend : 100% Arabica from Brazil , Rainforest Alliance certified . It contains Cereja Apassita , coffee cherries that have been left to dry before harvesting: according to Lavazza, this results in a richer, more concentrated espresso .
In the cup, notes of milk chocolate, dried fruit , and honey, with an amber roast. Intensity 9 out of 13 on the Lavazza scale, between Tales of Venezia (8) and Tales of Roma (10). Each capsule contains 9g of coffee; a box of 100 contains 900g.

What is the Lavazza “Tales of” collection?
A collection of coffees inspired by Italian destinationscapsules Blue, five destinations, from the least intense to the most intense on the Lavazza scale:
- Tales of Venezia (8 out of 13) — pure Arabica from Central and South America, floral and fruity, also available in Lungo version.
- Tales of Milano (9, this product) — pure Arabica from Brazil certified Rainforest Alliance: milk chocolate, dried fruit and honey.
- Tales of Roma (10) — Arabica and Robusta: hazelnut, chocolate and dried fruit.
- Tales of Capri (11) — Arabica and Robusta, medium roast: chocolate and dried fruit.
- Tales of Napoli (12) — Arabica and Robusta, long roast: bitter cocoa and caramel.
What is Cereja Apassita?
These are coffee cherries that are left to dry before harvesting. Lavazza uses them in the Tales of Milano blend to obtain a richer and denser, with notes of milk chocolate, dried fruit and honey.
Composition — Arabica or Robusta?
100% Arabica, from a single origin: Brazil, Rainforest Alliance certified. This is the only Tales of coffee in Blue from a single origin: Tales of Venezia combines Arabica beans from Central and South America, while Tales of Roma, Capri, and Napoli combine Arabica and Robusta.
Difference with classic Blue Amabile?
Two different profiles:
- Tales of Milano (this product) — pure Arabica from Brazil, notes of milk chocolate, dried fruit and honey, intensity 9 out of 13 ; an espresso.
- Blue Amabile — Arabica and Robusta, full-bodied and smooth, chocolatey and fruity, intensity 10 out of 13 ; designed for long coffee.
Compatible with systems other than Lavazza Blue ?
No capsule Blue has a shape specific to its system and only works in a Lavazza Blue (LB 300 Classy Mini, LB 1300C Classy Soul, LB 2310…). It is not suitable for Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, Delta Q or illy Iperespresso machines, nor for other Lavazza systems (A Modo Mio, Espresso Point, Firma).
How many cups can you make with 100 capsules?
One capsule makes one espresso: the box therefore makes 100 coffees. For example:
- Office of 5 people, 2 coffees each per day : 10 capsules per day, i.e. 10 working days.
- Office of 10 people, 2 coffees per day : 20 capsules per day, or 5 days.
- At home, 3 coffees a day : a little over a month.
