La Voix de la Terre (the French adaptation of the Tierra! program ) is Lavazza 's historic sustainable blend —launched in 2002 to mark the Italian group's commitment to sustainability and the development of coffee-producing communities. The program is managed by the Giuseppe and Pericle Lavazza Foundation ONLUS (a non-profit organization), created to support social and environmental projects in coffee-producing countries (primarily Latin America, but also Africa and Asia).
The Tierra! Bio Organic is composed of 100% certified organic Arabica beans from diverse origins supported by the Lavazza Foundation – Latin America (Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Honduras), with sustainable development projects (agroecological training, renewable energy, biodiversity protection). Certified organic according to EU/USDA Organic regulations depending on the market. Medium roast to reveal the delicate Arabica flavor without bitterness.
In the cup: a smooth and mellow attack with notes of milk chocolate (sweet cocoa, caramel milk chocolate), a balanced medium body supported by notes of dried fruit (roasted hazelnut, almond) and sweet notes. A smooth and harmonious finish. Positioned as a well-rounded, ethically sourced coffee —for customers who want to combine quality coffee with a commitment to sustainability. The 3 kg pack (3 individual 1 kg bags) is ideal for eco-conscious offices, organic restaurants, and sustainable hotels.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is the "Voice of the Earth" program?
La Voix de la Terre is the French adaptation of the Tierra! launched by Lavazza in 2002 —a landmark program committed to the sustainability and development of coffee-producing communities. The program is managed by the Giuseppe and Pericle Lavazza Foundation ONLUS (an Italian non-profit organization established in 2004), which funds projects in over 20 coffee-producing countries (primarily in Latin America, but also in Africa and Asia) focusing on agroecological, social, and environmental issues. The Tierra! blend (100% organic Arabica) is the commercial showcase of this commitment—each package contributes to funding the projects.
What exactly is in the 3kg pack?
The pack contains three 1kg individual bags of Lavazza La Voix de la Terre Organic whole bean coffee — for a total of 3kg. Each bag is individually sealed in a modified atmosphere with a degassing valve, ensuring optimal preservation : the current bag is opened and consumed, while the others remain sealed until needed. Ideal for an eco-conscious office (10-15 people) or a small organic restaurant/hotel looking for sustainable coffee without waste.
3 kg vs 1 kg or 6 kg format — how to choose?
Three Lavazza La Voix de la Terre Bio formats are available in our catalogue:
- 1 kg unit (#31587) — ideal for discovery / individual organic enthusiast / small office (2-5 people).
- 3 kg pack (this ref.) — ideal for committed offices (10-15 people) / small organic restaurants / eco-boutique hotels.
- 6 kg pack (#31593) — ideal for busy office volumes (30+ people) / organic restaurants / 3-4 star organic hotels.
Choose the format according to your monthly volume. Individual 1 kg bags in all packs for optimal preservation.
Is this coffee certified organic?
Yes, certified organic . The Tierra! Bio Organic blend ("The Voice of the Earth" in France) is made from 100% organic Arabica beans , certified according to European regulations ( AB logo / Euroleaf depending on production dates). Some historical versions have also carried additional certifications (Rainforest Alliance, UTZ) — check the label on the back of the bag for the current version. The Tierra! program goes beyond certification: it's a structural commitment from Lavazza to fund development projects in the producing communities through the Lavazza Foundation.
Who exactly is this 3kg pack intended for?
Target audience: CSR-conscious office / organic restaurant / eco-friendly hotel / eco-conscious clientele :
- CSR-committed office — companies with a CSR approach / eco-responsible label, wanting organic coffee consistent with their communication.
- Organic/vegetarian restaurant — consistent menu, sustainable coffee for eco-conscious customers.
- Eco/boutique hotel — hotel with Green Key label, European Ecolabel, organic room, organic breakfast.
- CSR firm / agency — CSR consulting firms, ESG agencies, where the coffee must be exemplary.
- Home organic enthusiast — intensive organic consumption (10 coffees/day), 3-4 week autonomy.
Compatible with milk-based drinks and cappuccinos?
Excellent . The characteristic milk chocolate and dried fruit notes of Tierra! Bio harmonize naturally with the sweetness of heated milk— sustainable cappuccino, latte macchiato, organic café crème . For maximum consistency in our CSR approach, we recommend pairing the organic coffee with steamed organic milk (organic whole milk, organic oat milk)—the result is smooth, well-rounded, and particularly appreciated by eco-conscious customers seeking this consistency.
How to store the 3 individual sachets to preserve freshness?
The pack contains three 1 kg individual bags, each sealed in a protected atmosphere with a degassing valve. As long as a bag remains unopened, it will keep until the indicated best before date (18-24 months). Store the three bags at room temperature (18-22°C), away from light—do not refrigerate. Open one bag at a time —once opened, reseal carefully or transfer to an airtight, opaque container, and ideally consume within 3 to 4 weeks. A 100% organic Arabica blend is particularly susceptible to oxidation.
