Flavour profile
Bristot describes its 100% Arabica for the Lavazza Blue system as a mild and delicate blend that nevertheless retains a well-defined structure: notes of cocoa lifted by spices and tobacco, with a chocolatey finish. It is medium-roasted.
Each capsule contains 8,5 g of ground coffee (425 g in the Bristot box of 50; this pack contains 100). Its microperforated film makes it compatible with all machines in the Lavazza Blue system. Roasted by Bristot, a company founded in 1919 in Belluno, at the foot of the Dolomites.

Frequently asked questions
Do these Bristot capsules fit all Lavazza Blue machines?
Yes: Bristot states that its capsules with microperforated film are compatible with all machines in the Lavazza Blue system, whose names begin with ‘LB’ (LB 300 Classy Mini, LB 1300C Classy Soul, LB 2310…). They do not fit A Modo Mio, Espresso Point, Firma, Nespresso, Dolce Gusto or Delta Q machines.
What does Bristot 100% Arabica taste like?
Bristot describes it as a mild and delicate blend that retains a well-defined structure: notes of cocoa lifted by spices and tobacco, a chocolatey finish and a medium roast. It is 100% Arabica, with no Robusta.
Bristot or original Lavazza Blue capsules?
Both fit the same machines; the choice comes down to taste. Lavazza’s pure Arabica Blue coffees are Tales of Venezia (8 out of 13, floral and fruity) and Tales of Milano (9, milk chocolate). Bristot leans towards cocoa, spices and tobacco. For more body, choose Arabica and Robusta blends such as Blue Intenso (11).
How much coffee does a capsule contain?
8,5 g of ground coffee: Bristot sells this product in boxes of 50 capsules (425 g); this pack contains 100. One capsule makes one coffee: 100 espressos, or just over a month at three coffees a day, or just over six working days for an office of five people each drinking three a day.
Who is Bristot?
A coffee roaster from Belluno, at the foot of the Dolomites. In 1918, Domenico Bristot discovers Vienna’s coffee houses; on returning home, he founds Torrefazione Bristot in 1919. The company, now Procaffè, has been owned by the Austrian Wedl & Hofmann group since 1999 and has kept its roots in Belluno; its coffee is drunk in more than 65 countries. What other Lavazza Blue-compatible capsules are available?
Two other Italian coffee roasters: Kimbo Napoli, a full-bodied Arabica and Robusta blend with notes of caramel and biscuit, and Covim Granbar Bidose, one capsule for two espressos. The full range: Lavazza Blue capsules.
