Lavazza Blue LB900 - Coffee machine user guide

To guarantee the proper functioning of your machine and avoid any loss of warranty, respect the following rules:
Failure to comply with these instructions can cancel the manufacturer's warranty.
1. Installation and start -up of the machine
Set up
- Install the LB900 on a flat, clean and dry surface , away from any heat or humidity.
- the machine right away
- Make sure your hands and the machine are dry .
2. Preparation of the water tank
- Carefully rinse the tank with clear water.
- Fill it with cold and non-sparkling drinking water .
- Never exceed the max level and make sure that the water remains above the min level .
- If possible, use filtered water to extend the life of your device.
- You can also install a Lavazza filter (optional) by following its instructions.
3. Start and initial rinsing
First start
- Connect the machine to an electrical outlet.
- Press one of the buttons to turn it on.
- The lights will flash in white : this means that the machine heats up.
- When they become fixed white , it is ready to use.
4. Start rinsing
- Place a drink under the spout.
- Press the Lungo to run clear water.
- If nothing flows, repeat the manipulation (up to 6 times maximum).
- Continue until the tank is empty: the rinsing is finished.
5. Prepare a coffee
- Raise the upper lever .
- Insert a Lavazza Blue .
- Close the lever until it starts .
- Place a cup under the spout.
- Choose :
- Espresso for short coffee
- Lungo for a long coffee
- Once the extraction is finished, raise the lever to eject the used capsule .

- use and non -gas water
- Do not leave stagnant water in the tank for more than 3 days.
- use Blue capsules .
- Regularly clean the removable parts.
- Respect the descaling intervals (every 2 months) .
Recommended use to preserve the LB900:
- 30 to 40 cafes per day is an ideal pace to balance performance and longevity .
- It can bear up to 50 to 60 coffees per day punctually, but such daily use will accelerate the wear of components (pump, coffee group, etc.).
Good maintenance practices to preserve the machine:
- Descabrication : every 300 to 400 doses or every 2 to 3 months.
- Daily cleaning of removable elements (water tank, capsule receptacle, nozzles).
- filtered water (especially in hard water areas).
- Let the machine cool between long series of cafes (> 10 in a row), if possible.
